Most companies have them. Dark and dusty archive rooms or blocked-in filing cabinets full to overflowing with old project files, event photos and rolls of product launch video footage.
Why don’t you make your archive work for you instead of just taking up space?
We’re in the process of doing this ourselves.
Ian Ward, Focus Consultant and former Director, is now taking time to come into the studio again to voice over some of the projects he worked on during his time in the business. Now he’s started, there’s almost no stopping him!
We’ve rummaged through our archive boxes and old backup drives to find relevant content we’ve produced which can add value right now. While some of it is outdated, it gives us an opportunity to refresh the story and update the viewer. Perhaps some of it is obsolete, but we can make a story about how far technology has progressed in such a short time. The fashion and style has changed so much since we produced a lot of this material, but now we can talk about how we have a long history and an abundance of experience.
If your company is like us, now is the time to make that archive material work for you again.
Dig out what you can find and give us a call. We can transfer old tapes to digital files, digitise photos and add relevant music and voiceover as well as help you put together a storyboard and organise serialisation of the content.
It’s time to put that archive to work!
