If you’re looking to tempt new talent to join your company, one very effective way to attract the best employees is with a recruitment video. A carefully-crafted video can capture the passion and emotion of current employees, promote the many benefits of working for the company and also relay your organisations’s values, which is especially important in the care world.
Working with Nicola Smith Communications our brief was to create an engaging and informative employee recruitment video for one of her clients – a local, well respected home-care organisation called Nobilis.
The promotional video was to showcase the many elements that make Nobilis a good employer and demonstrate how rewarding a job as a home carer can be. The video is featured on the Nobilis website jobs landing page, and was shared on social media, helping them engage with potential employees and encourage them to get in touch and find out more.
Working with Nobilis staff (not trained actors) talking about what it is like to work for the company, and exploring what they personally get from their job, the video feels totally authentic and is therefore highly effective. Staff talking about how Nobilis trains and supports them in their day-to-day duties means that they become real ambassadors of the company without even trying.
Does it work?
The Nobilis video was viewed over 3,200 times in the first week. That rose to over 6,391 views by the third week and within 10 months of its release the video had had over 20,000 views with hundreds of additional views each week.
