As an agency working in video marketing, we’re asked a lot of questions.
‘What do you do?’
‘How do you do that?’
But rarely, ‘Why do you do what you do?’
We are, at heart, storytellers. We love telling stories! We are passionate about communicating thoughts and ideas through creative means (in this case, through video) for others to understand a little more about the world they live in.
Here are some thoughts from around the studio…
” We get great satisfaction helping clients identify and solve their communication problems and fully utilise our technical and creative capabilities to the level where we are considered part of their team. ”
” To be able to help people communicate their messages creatively is hugely gratifying. Engaging with people in an authentic way to further their cause (especially when it comes to making a genuine difference) is exciting and allows us to get involved with a wide array of projects and clients. ”
” Having worked in broadcast television at the end of the 1970s I wanted a way to use vision and audio to communicate on behalf of clients for training, promotions and marketing, but at that time full-blown ‘tele-on-a-budget’ was simply out of the question. As technology improved, the internet got faster and we could deliver video on demand online. Today, our world is smaller, more collaborative, more immediate. Who wouldn’t want to take advantage of this incredible creative medium, especially when everyone else is using it? ”
” Creating stories is the main thing, taking a product or concept and bringing it to life in video is what makes it. The projects that have been most encouraging are the ones where there is the ability to save lives or help people. [Examples of this are] the Jext anaphalaxis pen, Southampton Domestic Abuse Service and the training videos we did for Walport (now KVH Media). They will have made a real difference to people’s lives. ”
” Working with companies to solve their problems with video and helping them to communicate more creatively and efficiently is always fun and interesting. The problem-solving element is also engaging for me. ”
” It’s very rewarding helping businesses and organisations grow by telling their stories through video. We live in a world now where there’s video all around us; at home, at work, on our phones, TVs, laptops. I love being able to help companies reach out to that market of people who are constantly looking for new engaging and immersive ways to learn. ”
This is why we do this. Come and join us!
