We have worked with Beaulieu Enterprises for many years covering their extensive range of regular events, the National Motor Museum and Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour on the beautiful Beaulieu River in Hampshire.
We were recently approached by them to help produce a promotional video for use at their stand at the Southampton Boat Show.
The brief was to capture the harbour in action. This meant we needed to capture shots of boat owners sailing in and out of the harbour, enjoying the facilities and also looking at the facilities and the Harbour Masters Office in action.
We also took the opportunity to get shots up and down the River and were able to add some aerial footage we had access to that showed the river and Buckler’s Hard Harbour.
On the day of the shoot the sun shone and the harbour and facilities were very busy. We were also able to stay into the evening so we could capture a special meal and drinks reception that proved very popular with those in attendance.
We also produced an instructional video for Beaulieu a little while ago which explained to sailors how to safely navigate the approach and departure to the marina. This starred Tom Cunliffe, author and life-long sailor, as he navigated his boat, Constance, up the Beaulieu River. Tom brilliantly explained the tips and tricks of mastering this deceptively awkward channel and shared why it is worth visiting this incredible part of the world.
Below is a snippet of the video we produced.
