What is Prosper about?
PROSPER is a health prevention programme aimed at the employees and developed within companies.
It is a generic and customized programme to help employees improve their lifestyle, develop
their health resources and put into practice the health prevention recommendations.
The programme is based on the effective mobilization and involvement of the key relays identified within the company.
The programme philosophy
A smooth awareness of an healthy lifestyle based on enjoyment and non-stigmatization of any food, overweight or behaviour.
The programme messages lies within the frame of real daily life with a positive, concrete and step by step apprenticeship of nutritional balance and physical activity points of reference, not only for the employees but also for all the family.
The programme architecture
A lifestyle approach and not a diet programme around:
- food habits to promote a balanced, diversified, affordable and pleasant diet
- physical activity to encourage to be less inactive and exercise on a regular basisAll the messages are based on scientific recommendation (French national nutrition Plan)
The programme « lives » within the company during 2 years and is organized around 2 complementary
and synergetic actions:
- General education and progressive involvement: 12 topics over 2 years , each topic being supported by specific tools and the involvement of key company stakeholders (ie occupational health, catering services, employees’ committee, internal communication, etc)
- The e-coaching for those who want to go further: a web service with an individual assessment and a customized coaching through emails. The programme tools 1/ The general education tools
• « A bible » describing the role of the key actors to involve in the programme and the steering principles
• A set of initial and continuous training for the relays•The communication tools reaching the whole company’s employees. Each topic is supported by:
- a themed poster : announcement of the topic and call to action with the website address of the coaching
- a themed leaflet delivering information but also concrete advices easy to put into practice
daily
• The tools especially designed for the key relays. For each topic:
- several road maps proposing animations and actions support behavioural changes
- a faxed letter for occupational health
- a themed article for the newsletter
2/ The e-coaching
The web coaching action is based on free decision and individual choice with 2 steps:
- an assessment on food, physical activity and lifestyle with a first personal diagnosis
- a customized coaching through e-mails according to the individual diagnosis : 4 emails by topic during 2 years, 1 email every 2 weeks. The email coaching follows the same rhythm as the general education action in the company. The themed emails deal with concrete advices, recipes, testimonials… |
