With any video it is important to consider the clients branding and how that can be animated and enhanced with motion graphics and theme music. It must be done in a way that reinforces the brand, its values and the image already in existence in print and online. Motion graphics and music are also powerful tools that can help enhance the message and information in the video itself.
A good example of the power of images and music is the movie industry. Think of any major movie you have seen, whatever the genre, and look at how the opening images and music have helped shaped the audiences expectations of what is to come. A few years ago the Guardian produced a list of the 50 greatest film soundtracks and noted that Alfred Hitchcock stated that 1/3rd of the success of Psycho was due to the music score so he doubled the composers salary!
