Advanced Presentation Skills Training Course

Presenting to an audience – of any size – can be a challenging experience for people.
Even people who do it often!
Getting the message right, ensuring it is delivered with maximum impact and then understood and reacted to positively by the audience, is a skill.
We can help you develop and improve those skills.
Whether you are presenting to a live audience, or via a webinar or a podcast, the same set of skills are needed.
So how can you enhance your performance and impact and actually enjoy the experience at the same time?
We run coaching courses for people who want to excel at presenting and communicating to audiences ‘face-to-face’ and via the internet. We run these presentation and communication skills training sessions in our Southampton studios – making full use of the audio and video recording and editing suites available.
What will you learn?
- The key elements of a successful presentation
- How to plan a presentation
- How to structure a message and use pace, pauses and emphasis to add impact
- Preparing presentation and interview scripts
- How to evaluate and work any audience (including those you cannot see!)
- How to develop rapport and empathy with any audience
- How to manage nerves to enhance and not detract from performance
- The power of body language (even when the audience cannot see you!)
- Posture and stance to help maximise voice projection and personal impact
- How to occupy a space and project yourself
- How to work with props and Powerpoint slides

Note: This course is usually run in association with the Audio and Video Production Workshop held at our studios in Southampton. In the Workshops delegates learn how to script, record, edit and produce audio and video podcasts and programs.
The training is led by Adrian Moss. Adrian has trained many people in presentation skills over the years using his practical experience of establishing and managing communication teams.
